TKO open track
By Robert - 12/24/2000 12:24:10 AM; IP 152.163.205.81
Im building a 67 S code 4 spd with Crane Hyd Roller Cam 220 duration .600+ lift 2500-6000 rpm 10:1CR 68-427 S.Oiler Ed Headed stroker much worked PI intake w DP. have considered TKO but look to be opting for Dan Williams 1-3/8ths input shaft installed in a wide ratio Toploader. Im very nervous over power and TKO as well as the clutch linkage requirements............Real interested in your installation of same. I want open track,auto-x and Drag Radial ability.Went with Strange axles in Versales Rear w/ 325:1 original gears and new case designTrac Loc and 4.11:1 Detroit locker.Plus I had the 2.75:1 Lincoln gears set up.Was really impressed with Koni adjustables I just got this week from CarParts .Com The firm setting is downright just about rigid and has to be perfect to convert to open track after you get to the track-not streetable w/o kidney damage!
Please let me know what your doing for subframe connectors.
