		| 351 C's wouldn't last at the Pro Stock rpm level without a massive re-do of the oiling system. have you ever seen one? I doubt it or you would be able to comment on the 5 or six yards of steel tubing running around, through and over the engine to redirect oil to the mains. Better, nah. The same, more likely. Take a look at the Ford Performance book, it shows a detailed example of what it took to make a Cleveland live at 10,000 rpms. A load of work was also done to the crank, as well as the cylinder heads to eliminate that fat, lazy spot in the exhaust ports. Geez, to make a 351C run good with factory parts(no, not 302-c motorsport alum heads either) would cost twice as much to do as to build a 428, even a passenger car motor.Leave the windsors to the little 5.0 mustang guys, Lord knows they need them. |
