		I have used the Milodon pan (steel) on serveral engines w/ no problems.  I agree with the other guy that the extra oil pressure does not do much for you.  I race a cobrajet Mustang stocker and have gone exclusively to the stock 390 style oilpump to reduce oil pressure.  I prefer about 45 to 50 psi when the oil is hot.  I user 5w30 mobil synthetic with a wopping 0.0035 rod bearing clearance.  I turn these motors 7200rpm in the lights and have never experienced a bearing problem.  Another thing I do is restict the oil to the top of the engine by threading and pluging the hole under the oiling stand.  I user a plug with a 0.060 hole to restrict oil.  This year I'm using bronze bushed stock rockers and plan on restricting the oil even further.
