Merc Vs. Ford Blocks By RC Moser - 01/16/2001 1:34:07 AM; IP 152.163.204.184 I always here that Linc/Merc was built to a higher standard the others in the earlier days. Anybody know any truths to this? Was it done by closer tolerances, stronger or more nickel in the blocks? Did you get more for your money or the same in a fancy wrapper as now days.
