Clean a little more

Between the center two plugs is the number you are looking for.
The C4AE folowed by a 6090 and then a single letter will be on both heads. Look closely for the single letter. I am betting it is a G or if it is close to the edge of the screw casting it will look like a C.
This would confirm that it is a standard engine, probably a 390, but you should check bore and stroke to be 100% sure.
You mentioned that it had a T-Bird carb and intake. It is probably a 64 T-Bird 390.
