You're building a street car. HP only counts on the strip, and mainly only at the end at that. You want stoplight performance, you want torque. You've heard some good benchmark performance figures here, including quartermile times. All you can do is build it the best you can, compare it as best you can to what others have accomplished, and don't focus on absolute HP numbers as much as how much fun you derive from the building process and the driving experience.
