This is a 390 motor. C7ME-A can either be 390 or 428.
C7AE-B rods were use in both 390 and 428. 428 rods had the 13/32", and 390 had 3/8" bolts. Same rods different bolts. 2U 390 crank. Heads are 390. If the heads have a 14 bolt exhaust pattern they are suposed to be GT heads, but I have seen these heads on factory 2V engines. I think if you had a 390 in a 67-68 mustang or cougar they had to have this bolt pattern for the special manifold to fit in the engine bay, regaurdless of 2V or 4V.
