Just from my gut, I'd be comfy with a 390/428 block if it had .120" walls (min thrust face), and would be willing to supecharge a little if the min was closer to .140".
This is rather thick for a 427 "min", if I recall, so I don't know what is considered OK for a non-reinforced 427 min. As the 427 probably used better iron, it's probably defined a little differently than the smaller bore FE blocks.
