Q code (428cj) Question: By Eric - 04/01/2001 11:16:44 PM; IP 63.39.114.188 Hello, I'm looking at a 69 Mustang Q code to buy. I know the engine is 'correct' but where/how would I check to see if this is the original engine (NOM). I've also been told the engine "occasionally" overheats. The seller believes this is due to the wrong head gaskets being installed but is not 100% sure. Is this a commonproblem w/ the 428s? Thanks for any help!!
