Beefier F-350 Truck 360?
By John M. - 10/19/2001 5:47:01 AM; IP 208.58.212.51
I just bought a 360 to replace my F-150's destroyed 390, until I can get the money to rebuild the 390. This 360 came out of a '73 long flatbed F-350, with a PTO on the tranny. Is it any beefier than the 390? Would it be better to bore/stroke the 360 to 390? By the way, the 390 is a '76, so the blocks' year of manufacture might make a difference. I would have thought that the 350 would have a 390, and it was even sold to me that way, but the VIN and engine sticker say 360. Any ideas?
