Kevin Marti has a book which may answer that.

I've had that book on my "buy" list for way too long. I gotta buy it soon.

Kevin Marti has licensed access to Fords production database for those years and he has written a book on Mustangs, and another on Cougars. I suspect you may find this book interesting.

I don't recall his URL off hand, but it might be similar to "Marti Auto Works" or something like that.

Your Mustang sounds like it was purpose-built to go fast - none of that "deluxe" stuff to weigh things down.

Shoe.
