I knew that if I mentioned that I'd never seen a real, honest to goodness, '68 Torino/Fairlane 428, that you guys could bring 'em out. I did know that a few had to have been built but like I thought, not nearly as common as the '68 CJ Mustangs/Cougars. I've seen those. I actually toured the Milpitas(San Jose) assembly plant in the closing days of the production, summer of '68. What a tour. I asked the guide where the Cobra Jets were. He took me personally over to a wall which was in the engine storage area and there they were.....a line up of 50 or so '68 428 CJs. I was amazed!
