It should not be tight. Torque spec is 95-105 ft-lbs. Should take a few pounds to turn it (break-a-away torque) then turn very easily.

Three usual causes. Bearings wrong, crank turned incorrectly, or bent crank. Occassionaly the main bearing alignment is off but it unusual to be abe to detect it this way.
