The area behind bearing is the biggest problem.. By kevin - 02/26/2002 4:45:31 PM; IP 209.240.222.131 with FE oil system. It is a bottleneck that needs reworked, (bigger-smoother). As far as the 3 o'clock biz goes, the load on the cam from being driven by the chain pulling it down, stresses the 3 to 7-8 o'clock area and with the feed hole at the begining of this range, it has the most film strength possibility.
