flexplate/tranny question
By luke - 02/27/2002 9:04:16 AM; IP 168.20.242.59
I have a 1965 galaxie which originally had a 390. I switched out the 390 for a 428cj, but have been getting some vibration in the engine. The flexplate is the balanced model intended for the 428. Does the flexplate for the 428 that I have only work with a c6 tranny, because I'm pretty sure my galaxie has a Fmx. Is there a flexplate out there for a 428 and the fmx, or do I need to find myself a c6?
