Better check the clearance for the shorty headers in the 60 Bird (if you're using the stock Ford shorties).....Engine compartment is narrow and the steering box is very close to the block.....Ford Powertrain Applications makes a nice custom header for the 352/390 that fit nicely in the 60 Bird whether manual or power steering...I'm installing a set right now in my 60.....Good luck, Ed
