I'd just assumed that you meant an after market shorty headers like FPA offers. CincyEd is right on with the fact that the HP/Interceptor header style cast iron Ford manifolds won't fit in the birds.
Again, I think you'll be happy with the E-brock Performer. It sounds like you're going to just up-grade the rebuilt 390-2V without a cam change, etc. So it'll work well with a 600 Holley(if that Holley is in good shape). |
