my dad is the original owner of a shelby gt 500. its never been touched but the motor work which he did in the 70s, my question is this, the car has sat and not run since 88. it wont turn over at all, i tried the mystery oil technique, to no avail, my dad says he bored it 030 over a long time ago, haw far over can you go? its a 428, with a c6, 427 low riser heads, original dual quad intake, he mentioned something about having 390 rods in it , but that makes no sense to me. if i can figure out how to post pictures ill do it, before i yank the motor, and try to get the pistons out, how oversize can i go, or should i just, look for a different block
