I assumed in my response that he was asking about a Mustang but a welcome change....he was referring to a Fairlane as it turned out in a later post. As for Ford Galaxie tri power under the hood of a '66-'67 Fairlane, I know for a fact that there's no clearance problems at all. I don't think there's problems even for a Mustang either.
