You can take suitable a carb intake, have the injector bungs welded into it, use aftermarket fuel rails, and use a Mustang harness and computer with few alterations to the harness. Once it is functioning, you should not have to mess with the injection system on a regular basis.
This is by no means a budget build for you , since you would be farming out the work, but it is an option.
