I have used both the petronix and the Duraspark with the MSD6 and both are very straight froward and easy to install, the petronix just has one extra wire comiing out of the distributor, and is very hard to spot (even for a race car tech official as I ran one in a bomber race car) whereas the MSD ignition has the box. You will get people telling you that the petronix is limited compared to the MSD but I have never found that to be the case.
