One other thing to do is when you have the old frame out from under the car put it next to the new and carefully compare the two even though they maybe interchangeable converts typically have some extra braces and cross members.If you find any differences make sure to remove them from the old frame and install on the new.Converts needed the extra bracing because it could not depend on the body stucure for stiffness due to the lack of the hard top.A good example would be the 60 converts,they have a frame that looks like a combination of a perimeter frame and the old style X-frame.I don't think the later Galaxies were that elaborate but I'm sure there will be some extra bracing.Just try to duplicate it if at all possible.
