428 was produced from '66 to '70. Giving them a date code of C6--- D0. D4 denotes a '74 engine, The c8oe heads are the right castings to be cj heads but the engine is wrong. If the c8oe heads are on the engine, then it is likely a 390 engine. The only way to be certain is to check the bore and stroke.
check under the filter adapter on the block and post those numbers here.
We'll figure it out.
