There are numerous suppliers of adjustable rockers/pushrods for the FE. All of the major cam grinders, Crane, Comp., Crower, Isky provide them. You can even get them from NAPA I think. I did a few years back. They offer a standard replacement of the B8A(1958 on up) 1.76 Ford adjustable rocker. They also have the cup/ball pushrod you'll need.

The rockers I'm using with my Comp 282S I bought from Rocker Arms Specialty in CA, www.rockerarms.com. I did send 16 adjustable core rockers and they sent me 16 refurbished/bushed 1.76 adjustable stud & lock nut. I do not like the Ford standard self locking adjustable stud. I have had them lose their self locking ability and they back out thus offering a potential disastrous situation. I tend to listen carefully to my FEs and I was able to detect something wrong from the tell tale "clatter" before the pushrod jumped out of the rocker.

Then again you can go even bigger $ and go with roller rockers. Numerous companies provide these too, again Comp., Crane, Dove, etc. I've never run roller rockers yet but many who read this forum have and maybe they might give advice on these.

RAS also sold me a set of their HD rocker shafts which are obviously much thicker than the standard Ford shafts. In addition I went for their aluminum end supports and solid spacers replacing the springs. This system came fully assembled and ready to bolt on. Rocker Arm Specialty was very professional and responsive.

Another thing I did was to use rocker shaft studs instead of the standard Ford bolts. These I bought from Rob at Blue Oval Performance. Another great place to do business with. They also provided the Crower shell lifters/correct length pushrods to run on the 282S. The shell lifters aren't that important but I like them because I "think" they're lighter and just ..... cooler. No one gets to see them but still it was important to me for this Ford-Edsel.
