When I put an Edelbrock intake on my 63 Galaxie years ago, I replaced the valve covers with the newer ones which have "Power by Ford" stamped on them and installed the cap for a PCV valve on one side and a cap for a return hose to the air filter on the other side like on a late sixties Ford. I made a carb spacer with a vacum outlet behind the carb and connected the hose from the PCV valve to it. I believe an Edelbrock carb has vacum outlets both front and back if you replace the carb as well - and you can skip the manufacturing part.
