The differences

1. Different camshaft
2. Extra bolt pattern on the exhaust side of the heads. No difference in the heads themselves. Your exhaust manifolds probably flow equal to or better than 390GT.
3. Marginally stiffer valve springs
4. Different pistons. The 390 GT had 10.25 compression, your engine is around 9.0 because of different pistons. This accounts for most of the power difference.

Casting causes confusion - many FEs have '352' on the block. [n/m] -- Mr F, 07/11/2003
