Thanks Shoe,

The crank flang has only the square notch on the O.D. so that means its a 390? or could it be something else? Also, where do I find the block and crank I.D. info and what numbers/letters am I looking for. This may sound like a silly quesion but if you saw how deep I have to dig through greasy grime (no I'm not finiky) to get to steel, then you would understand, but this engine is a mess.
