1965 Mustang starter nose cone grinding By David Renshaw - 04/29/2004 2:50:45 AM; IP 67.170.152.243 When the car is running at high rpm, the starting begins making a horrible grinding sound,like metal on metal. When I take it out, the nose cone of the starter is all torn up. I've tried shimming it, same thing. Does anyone have any ideas?
