Original Message
62 352 Paint color (code?)

Just bought a sweet 62 Galaxie with a 352 2V.
My book says block should be black. After
steam cleaning, I find the block and heads are
actually a gold, maybe beige color. Possiby
even a hint of metallic? This is a very original
car with original paint/upolstery/windshield so
I feel it is still original color on the engine. Also
this is a Canadian car,(I'm in Canada) if that
may make the difference. Any info or paint
codes or brand of paint to look for to bring 'er
back to original color. Many thanks in advance!
