hello.i recently developed a problem with my 390 where it was eating distributor gears.i took it apart and discovered the cam thrust plate is broken on both ends.
has anyone ever heard of this before?
should i just replace it?
i need to change the cam now because the distributor drive gear on the cam is bad also.the engine is a 390 for mild street use.
any advice is appreciated.
