RE: What caused the plug to brake? |

I have no idea what caused the plug to break. I was driving down the 395 in CA and I heard a loud pop. I checked under the hood and noticed a spring arcing near a bolt right next to the plug whole in the engine. There was oil around the whole as well. I think the noise was echoing out of the engine hole. They called me 2 days ago and just told me the coil assembly busted and they would only charge me 50 bucks. then today, I get a call saying that they tried to screw a plug in and there was no threads and part of the old plug fell inside and screwed up the piston head. What would you guys do. I just paid these guys $1500 now they want another $1000.
I really appreciate all and any advice.
Thanks,
Mike |
