E-brock tuning |

Tuning an e-brock is actually easier and less messy than on a Holly. The jetting is the combination of the jet and a two-stage rod that goes through the jet. The two-stage rod's place in the jet is controlled by the vacum present and a counter-spring. I.e. you step on the gas, the vacum drops, the spring pops up the rod so that the thin part of the rod is in the jet allowing more fuel through - instead of the powervalve on a Holly. This version does not rot or blow out like powervalves do.
From Summitt, Jegs and others you can purchase a calibration kit that will allow you to swap out jets, rods and springs - without even having to take the carb bowl cover off.
