have a 69 390 with c8aeh heads and was wondering if this is a good option as I am just collecting parts for this motor. I have the stock rockers already and want to use the stock shafts.

looking at engine specs a 69 390 engine, suppose to have 10.5 to 1 ratio but I noticed a post on this site that said c8aeh heads are stock 8:1 truck heads.
is this right? so I wont get my 10.5 to 1 ratio? or are we talking about diffrent ratio's.
if so I have the option to return the heads even though I bought them for 200 with rockers and stock exhaust manifolds that I intended to use, but heads need to be redone.
