67 Mustang w/ C-6 and Headers

I've got a 67 Mustang w/ 390 and C-6 tranny. Just installed Hooker Headers and the tranny shift lever is right up against the driver side header.

Does this header installation require an after market shifter or can I still use my stock shifter. (shift lever is pointing down on my tranny).

Have you asked Hooker? Could be they assume S/T. [n/m] -- Mr F, 01/01/2005
