I tried a flex fan on my 390 Cougar. It was like installing a bunch of ginzu knives and then it was noisy and inadequate.
Hayden's fan clutch #2711 or equivalent from other manufacturers should fit and are readily available. Fred Oliva in Florida also rebuilds fan clutches, but that is a good bit more expensive than a new one.
