I'm converting from a C6 in my 67 mustang. Will be running a 470ci FE and wanted to go with a toploader. I can get a standard mustang 390 toploader and know it will fit. I want a big in/out on though and need to know if I get one that has the longer tailshaft, will the shifter fit in the correct spot?
