i'm rebuilding my 390 and i ordered some hasting rings. my engine is bored.040 so i ordered the .040 oversize. the problem is when i whent to check the gaps the minimum gap is .010. the hastings gap was .035!! i'm suping up my engine a little and i don't want to loose my compression and power because of some crappy rings. help/advice/sugestions are very appreciated.
i'm also thinking of going to sealed power or speedpro. if anyone has and experiance with them or any other rings please let me know. thank you for you time and help |
