Also a bad thing happened today and my starter {unknown vintage} but had a rebuild tag on it ate it's gear today car ran fine and then I went to restart and made a horrible noise. after I got the starter out 3/4 of the gear is gone could this problem be limmited to the starter? Thanks Jim
