YES IS THE ORIGINAL ENGINE. THAT IS NEW FOR ME SO I ALL READY HAVE THAT 428 CRANK ON THIS ENGINE! THE PORPUSE OF MY POSTS IS JUS TO ASK AND TRY TO GAIN MORE POWER OUT OF THIS ENGINE I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO MODIFIED THIS ENGINE BUT NOT EXTREMELY, FOR SAMPLE I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF REPLACING MY CAM USIN 270 DURATION (INTAKE) (BUT I DONT KNOW THE RIGTH LIFT) WILL HELP OR IS BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL CAM. THE GUY I GOT THIS CAR HE SAY THEY REPLACE THE HEADS (COBRA JET HEADS) PEOPLE SAY TO ME THOSE HEADS ARE NOT COBRA JET HEADS CAUSE MY HEADS HAVE 14 EXHAUST BOLTS EACH SO I DONT KNOW I THEY ARE CJ HEADS SOME GUYS SAY THE CJ HEADS HELP THE 390s TO BREATHE BEATTER. MY PREVIOUS CAR WAS 94 MUSTANG GT, THIS 67 GT HAVE MORE TORQUE I CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE IS BIG BUT I THINK ON HIGHWAY A 5.0 CAN GIVEME SOME TROUBLE THATS WHY I WOULD LIKE TO IMPROVE THIS 390.
