All you gotta do is stick it loosely in the snout. All blowby will get drawn into the air cleaner.
If you have an open-element air cleaner (i.e.: you can see the entire air cleaner element when it's properly installed), then it gets a bit tougher, but it's still do-able.
Don't worry about finding a precision fit for the hose - my suggestion is a kludgy fix and it's supposed to look funky. Heck, add a little duct tape to the mess to give it that "I ain't got a dime in this truck" feel. I always enjoy emphasizing the radical appearance of these temporary fixes - it seems to make it more sporting or something. Also, te creepier they look, the more reliable they tend to be.
