Hi Gang, I am new to the Forum. My Name is Emory and I am 63 Year's old and I live in South Georgia.
I have a Question which I hope that I can get some help on.
I have a 1965 Ford Galaxie 2 door with a 352 Engine W/3 On the Tree W/overdrive My question is that it has been in the Barn for a Lot of Year's and the Other day I got it out To do some work to it and Make a Crusier out of it for my Grandson. It is Jet Black and Has Red Interior which Both is still in very gud Shape Not a Spot of Rust.
Well anyway I got it out and Put in Fresh gas and a Hot Battery and It turned over Maybe a Dozen time's and roar to life, Just the way I remembered it to be.
Anyway It is smoking and it slowed down a Little bit After it warmed up But! It still smoke's some. So I ran the Compression On it and I come up with the Weirdest think all the Piston's On the Driver's side is 65 and all the piston's on the Passenger side is 95. I suspect that some of the smoking is coming from Dried Valve guide's from sitting all these year's. I am going to take the Head's off and have them reworked. But! anyone have any Idea's on the compression Why would it come up like that. Do Y'all think that when I get the Head's back on that it will be any better?
