aluminum rad worth it?

hi, i've got a 69 mustang with a 390 with a pretty good cam and intake. its time to replace the radiator but i don't know if an aluminum rad is realy worth it. i live in Ga. right now but moving to Pa. so summers won't be all that hot. any help is appreciated. thanks for your advice
