The 352 was a much better engine than the 430.

I've owned several 59 & 60 T-Birds including a 60 T-Bird with the 360 HP 352 HiPo standard w/od. At one time you could not give away a T-bird with a 430 in it. The engine was not used in Nascar because it would not live after 5000 rpms.
