Not to dwell on the ignition, but I've never found that idle test where you pull off plugwires one by one very helpful. Almsot any spark will fire at an idle. Under load is where a weak spark becomes "no spark". Plug wires are generally the culprit. Check the plugs and see if they all look the same. Anyway, perhaps you could post some more clues. What happened immediately prior to this problem showing up? Did it sit all winter?(water in the fuel) Did you do a 6000 rpm+ run?(maybe a bearing let go) Did you change anything. (undo and see if problem goes away) |
