You may be able to find a partial VIN stamped on the back of the driver’s side of the engine block just below where the head meets the block. Also look for the casting dates on the block and heads. The date must be prior to the date your car was built for it to be original. It also should not be more then a month or two before the car was build. If you use the search button you will find that many people have asked this same question. You will also find the places you need to look for the numbers.
