Acounting for 33 years of grime, oil and dirt the light blue shade may actaully be quite close. Gee... Maybe I should wipe my freshly painted motor down with a mixture of drain oil and old coolant before I fire it up!!! just kidding. ( would like to see the espression on the face of my extremely Uh, retentive restoration buddy though.) All kidding aside it would be nice if the forum had a page devoted the the various colors and shades of paint as required to correctly detail the different years and models of engines. Put it in the resource section. Just an idea but many forum users might find it usefull.
