temp fix for compression leak?
By geo - 11/15/2000 6:57:56 PM; IP 24.67.94.253
I've got a problem,
In my 65 390 4v i've got a compression leak that causes breather to puke oil residue on underside of hood,

Eventually I'm going to have to do a rebuild, but seeing as how I've never done one before it is a daunting task.

I was wondering if i could use some sort of supplement to temporarily fix my problem?
like an "engine restorer" or the like

would you suggest such a fix or will it only compound my problems?

thanks for any help
