Work on the sangfroid RJP, insecurity can make one percieve "argument" when none is being made. Happy to hear of your success. Sorry to hear that you think seeking advice from experts is "name" dropping". Perhaps you overlooked the "I" in my posts. They were used to signal you that "I",too, build my own engines. I can but report what results I've had. Which, of course, is the purpose of this forum. NOT sarcasm, or baseless condescension or inane rants . Let me assure you how predictable it was to hear from you that Smokey and all of those NASCAR types (that i've talked too on a number of ocassions) are all WRONG. Please advise where in the NASCAR, NHRA, SCCA, USAC (etc...) record books I can look up your accomplishments. Smokey's number is in the phone book. The area code is 904. Or you could all Robert Yates in Charlotte. (engine builder for Holman Moody late sixties early seventies-built the 427 TP that LeeRoy Yarbrough won Daytona with in '69 -the night before the race!). His area code is 704. I'm sure they'd both love to learn a thing or two about history AND engine building from you.LOL |
