Well, I agree it was good advice, too. And that
brings up a continuing point: if you don't like what someone else has to
say, then counter it with your opinion and leave the personal stuff out of it.
I'm happy to see that we seem to be improving, in this regard.

hope none of us so closely identifies with our favorite engine(s) as to be
offended
by opposing viewpoints. So long as someone presents his opinion politely
and without referring to me, then I'm compelled to respond in like
fashion. Besides, I would argue that the whole matter is petty. Do most -
or any - positions stated here have a significant value beyond
pure conversation?
So he thinks FEs are overrated or cost
too much or make noise - who cares? Likewise, if you
should happen to disagree - big deal. Frankly, its all fluff and
neither opinion matters much in the Grand Scheme of Things. Let's stick
to arguing the facts and not each other's personal tastes, Ok? Otherwise,
we might as complain about spelling and grammar, for Pete's sake.
That's the House's two cents, anyway.
