		| I'm not totally certain on this but I've never heard of any advantages in using a C6 from a truck application. I don't think you'll find a auto trans for your Coug from a FT application.  Two suggested C6's: '66-'67 390 GT applications, i.e., Fairlanes/Comets/Mustangs/Cougars.  These have a better servo and are positive shifting.  They're pretty tough factory built.  Best C6 - no mystery here, the mighty R code servo with cast iron tail shaft, these gems came with 428 CJ's in late '68 'stangs, all big block, FE/Lima Cobra Jet applications from then on.  They're getting diffiuclt to find but what a tough/hard shifting transmission!  |
